About Us

MAAM Foundation was born out of a legacy of compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication to the welfare of the vulnerable in our society. This legacy began with a remarkable woman, a mother whose heart and hands were always extended to those in need. She spent her life selflessly aiding the needy, comforting the elderly, supporting widows, and bringing hope to countless lives. Her acts of kindness were not just occasional; they were the essence of her being, touching the hearts and minds of everyone around her.
Upon her passing, her children were determined to honor her memory and continue the noble work she had devoted her life to. In her spirit and with her values as their guiding light, they established the MAAM Foundation. The name itself is a tribute to their beloved mother, an acronym standing for "Mama Akuavi Agbemale Memorial Foundation." This foundation serves as a testament to her enduring impact and a pledge to carry forward her mission of compassion and support for the vulnerable.
Since its inception, the MAAM Foundation has been dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities. We aim to inspire and mobilize people to take action, just as our mother did. Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to alleviate suffering, promote well-being, and empower those who are often overlooked. Our journey is guided by the belief that every act of kindness can create a ripple effect, leading to profound and lasting change.
